Design Methodology in Automotive Industry – (I) Injection Molded Parts

for 2nd to 4th year students

What are we offering?

• One course (4h) for everyone;
• Where? Facultatea de Mecanica, Iasi; amfiteatrul M1
• When? Saturday, February 22nd, starting 9:00 AM;
• What do you need? Pencil and pen, paper and the will to learn

Then, for selected students (max. 15 participants)

• Eight seminar sessions (2 h each, starting 5:00 PM in selected Tuesdays), organized as following: March 3rd, March 10th, March 17th, March 31st, April 7th, April 14th, April 28th, May 12th;

What you will learn

• information on the actual design process used in the auto- motive industry as well as insights from real life projects;
• specific engineering information (design guidelines);
• how to perform actual mechanical design tasks with support from experienced designers;

• laptop with Catia v5 application installed;
